Sublet Double Room in Upper Clapton

Hello,
We are subletting one of our rooms from 1st February (earlier move-in can be arranged) for two months, with the possibility to extend or go permanent.

Rent works out £659 a month bills included. (council tax, electricity and gas, water, internet and weekly cleaner).

The room is on the first floor, faces the back garden and it is fully furnished.

The house is a Victorian terrace a couple of minutes walk from the Clapton Overground station and Millfields park. It is spread out over three floors and includes a large kitchen, garden and patio and a basement with a washing machine and extra toilet. We all take care looking after the house and making it feel like a home. It has what we like to call character, meaning that it could probably do with a lick of paint.

A bit about ourselves: we are all in our thirties and early forties and work in different fields (care, design, yoga and education). Some of us work one or two days a week from home, using our rooms as offices. We keep quite different hours and make an effort to keep noise down if we are up and about early morning or late at night. We all lead quite active lives and have a creative side. We are also LGBTQ+ friendly.

We are a friendly and fairly social bunch but by no means a party house. We enjoy hanging out together and usually get together for a shared meal every month or so. House responsibilities are shared equally and everyone has a say in how things are run.
