We have one lovely room going in our home in Lower Clapton.

The place is very spacious, well kept and is located just off Lower Clapton Road. Everyone has their own thing going on but love hanging around for a beer, TV series, BBQ or dinner. The house is currently occupied by Pat (cheesemonger and deli manager, avid cyclist), James (works in beer, excellent cook), Izzy (producer and big football fan) and Matilda (designer and keen gardener).

There are several bus stops at the end of the street that head into Central London and Hackney Central/Hackney Downs station are a 5-10 minute walk away. The house has 2.5 bathrooms, a massive living room, large kitchen with all the usual amenities, and a garden out back, all of which are used regularly! The house also comes equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher and dryer.

The neighbourhood is great - plenty of restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, green space and more. Basically anything you're looking for you can find it close by.

Details on the room: it is a medium double, with an east facing window - which means you get lovely morning light, especially in summer. It comes unfurnished, except for a bed & mattress. Rent per month for the room is £763. Bills at the moment are about £120/month, including internet, council tax, water, gas and electricity, and an occasional cleaner. Deposit is £900. The room is available from April 1st, so are looking to get viewings sorted soon.
