Bright sunny room in friendly Clapton flat

One of our long term flatmates is moving back to Australia and we’re looking to fill her cute and bright room.

The house has a shared living room (with TV and sofa bed for guests); a fully kitted out kitchen; two shared bathrooms; and a little back garden. The room comes furnished with a bed, little side chest of drawers and shelves. We also have a neighbourhood cat who frequently comes and visits.

It's a lovely Victorian townhouse with lots of character and wood floors throughout. We are located on a nice quiet road parallel to Chatsworth Road and within 5 min walk of Hackney Marshes and Millfields Park. We are less than 20 mins walk from Homerton, Clapton and Hackney Central overground line. Buses into the City are just at the end of the road too, including night buses.

Remaining flatmates are Harriet, Jenn and Zazie - 2 brits and a Canadian, all in our early 30s and working professionals (advertising, music, and charity). All like cooking, travelling, socialising, and being outdoors. We are a friendly, sociable bunch that enjoys hanging out together, though we are all out and about a lot too or doing our own thing. If you want to live in a generally chilled out, fun, clean house, this would be perfect for you.

Rent is £882.5 per month, Council tax £40 each a month, internet £7 each a month, gas & electricity comes out every quarter and varies but it’s roughly anywhere between £80-120/qtr, water we have set up annually and based on the most recent bill was £122 each for the year.

We also have a cleaner every other week for communal spaces only, which comes to around £35 each per month.

The room is officially available from December 7th.
