Double en-suite room in Canalside Maisonette

We are 2 female professionals (age 30/31) working in the creative and campaigns/charity industry’s. We have collectively been in the flat for nearly two years and are looking to extend this at least another year and need a new housemate! Our third housemate is moving out in November with 4 months left on the contract. We are looking for someone to join for those 4 months with the intention of resigning on in March when the lease renews for another year.
The flat itself is set across 2 floors within a large canal side development and has plenty of storage and an open plan kitchen/living room that exits onto the outdoor balcony. There is a downstairs loo and an upstairs bath/shower which is shared between 2 (but the room advertised has an en-suite that’s all yours)!The entrance of the flat is right on the canal and was really the selling point for us. It’s a lovely place to live especially in the summer. Clapton overground station is a ten min walk away and there are many useful bus routes on Lea Bridge Road (3 min walk and Upper Clapton Road (10 min walk). Plenty of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants on the doorstep.

One of us is a freelance photographer and so will be working from home often or shooting models at home week by week so this will need to be considered if you wfh a lot. Your room is rather large though so plenty of space for a desk.
The other flatmate works in the charity/campaign sector and splits between office and wfh days.

After work we mainly hang out in the living room (lovers of trash TV) and whilst we cook separately we sometimes cook together on a Sunday and put a film on! On weekends we are usually up to something or other but also love a trip to the pub for a roast dinner or just a mooch locally. Where the weather allows it, we love to take a blanket to the marshes and sunbathe or play cards. Overall it’s a friendly chilled house of girls who love interiors and we’re pretty proud of the home we’ve created so need a flatmate who is tidy, respectful and isn’t looking for a house to host afters. Cleaning up after yourself and mucking in here and there is all we ask whilst being mindful of noise at night. Not to say we don’t have friends over for a drink/dinner or people to stay but it’s not a party house! The room is unfurnished, so it will be a blank canvas to play around with. We have a load of crockery and utensils etc that we all use freely but don’t have space for loads of additional furniture in the shared areas.
