Description
Hello ☀️ We’re looking for a new flatmate for our lovely 3-bed flat overlooking the River Lea/Marshes by Millfields Park, 10 mins from Clapton station, 20’ from the excellent Ramen place on Chatsworth and just 5 from the Hope & Anchor pub on the canal.
Big living room and open kitchen, plus we’re very lucky to have an amazing riverside balcony and garden, which is lovely in summer.
The room is on the second floor, and gets great morning light. It’s decent in size, but it might not suit someone who works from home full time. It comes (mostly) UNFURNISHED, except for:
the bed frame (no mattress, but there’s the option to buy it off the leaving flatmate, who only just bought it a couple months ago)
and a large wardrobe.
We’re both in our early thirties; Callie is currently working on a PhD on an obscure poet and is into live music, art, various literary-related pursuits, with a weakness for (increasingly overpriced) coffees & pastries.
Niki works as a psychotherapist for NHS and has her own private practice, working 2 days in the hospital, 2 days from home. She is into photography, music, cinema, yoga, politics, and slowly turning the house into a jungle.
We’re both pretty easy going, it’s a calm feeling place with no drama, which is important to us. Someone who is keen to maintain tidy communal spaces and pitch in with cleaning is important and we generally strive for a nice chill energy in the house.
We’re looking for a flatmate we’d really get on with and enjoy occasionally hanging out, who is on a similar wavelength and wants to make the flat a home too. We’re both quite busy, but enjoy chats in the living room, the occasional excursion etc.
We’re hoping to find someone quite quickly, with a planned move-in date of 15th-16th June. With this mind, we’re looking at doing viewings soon.
Bills roughly £150/m
Agency will do the usual checks, references required etc, and charges a £50 admin fee.
£800 deposit
LGBTQ+ friendly, we can’t have pets sadly.
Smoking fine outside.
