Double room in friendly Clapton share house

The house is a three storey 70s build with a big living-kitchen-dining room on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms on each of the floors above.

It has two toilets, one shower with bath and a large back garden.

The room is £750 - comes furnished with a double bed, mattress, wardrobe, desk and bedside table. (Landlord has been a hero and can remove any of this if you have your own stuff at no extra cost.)

The living space has a dining table, sofa, TV (bigger than than in the ad), washing machine and fridge/freezer. Our landlord is really great and has given us money for furniture in the past. If we report problems he always comes to sort them within the week, and if you fancy making changes to a room reimburses straight away).

Bills tend to be around £100-120 a month. This includes council tax, gas and electric, water, TV license and internet. Deposit is £750.

Current flatmates are:
Dave - Software engineer by trade but hiker, avid sports watcher and ale enthusiast by choice
Maria - Always up for a run, a wine, a travel adventures and a good film (a civil servant to fund all the above)
Josie - Loves music, often djing a very cool places or recording a very cool radio show, loves art exhibitions and the pub in between

We are all really good friends and looking for some one that wants to come to the pub, cook a massive house meal, or a comedy night but everyone also does have their own thing going on.

The area, Overground Stations, Homerton and Clapton are both less than a 10/15 minute walk away. From Homerton you’re at Highbury and Islington or Stratford in 10 minutes. So about 45 mins into central. The 242 bus runs all day and night into Aldgate via Shoreditch and is 1 minute jog away from the front door.

The house is on a friendly estate and 1 minutes walk from Chatsworth Road. Our local boujie high street has plenty of pop ups and restaurants and an unjustifiably posh Spa shop.

We also have lots of green spaces nearby. Milfields Park is a 30 second walk away, Hackney Marshes and Walthamstow Marshes just 4 mins, and about half an hour to Victoria Park.
