Bright Double Bedroom in garden flat Upper Clapton

Hello :)

Flatmate moving back in with family so we are looking for someone to sublet this lovely room in this Clapton flat until the end of the tenancy (and potentially beyond)!

Sublet - mid November to mid January

Price: £975 + bills
Local housing allowance and benefits are accepted.

5 mins walk from Clapton overground. 15 minute to Stoke Newington. 20 min to Dalston and Hackney.

The space: 3 bed flat. The room is spacious with v high ceilings, lots of natural light, a built-in cupboard and decorative fireplace. Partially furnished. The house also has a spacious living room. There’s a sunny garden.

We’re not a party house, although we do enjoy the occasional night out or party to celebrate a birthday and that. Up to hang out, watch something, have a drink, etc. together in our spare time but equally respectful of everyone’s need for space and downtime!

Accessibility: The bathroom is 9 steps down from the entry of the flat
17 steps total - the building is accessed by 4 steps; 12 steps within the flat itself; and 1 small step out into the garden. No intercom system to access the flat. Not a fragrance free house.

Pets: Cats can be considered.

You’ll be living with 3 others aged around 28 (2 are a couple and share a room).

Keev (they/them): I’m a freelance writer/creative working mostly from home. Love a good swim in the sea, reading, a bit of poetry and some trans theory (for my sins). Partial to a pint of plain (Guinness lol). Living between here and Dublin at the moment, so will be back and forth!

Rod (they/them): Busy resisting Britishisms of calling college “uni” and getting a UK phone number, apparently… Like to read, draw and collect small found objects (lol). Working a mix of in person & from home!

Bee (she/her): I like reading, knitting, cooking, and other hobbies known to 80-something-year-old women. Working in person full-time.

Here are some photos of the space - they’re mostly accurate but the kitchen floor has been replaced and the photos of the room are from before we moved in (so furniture is diff)!
