Room in Lovely Clapton Queer Houseshare

Hello room seekers!

We’re Matilda, Kat and Maanav and we have a room becoming available in our very queer and spacious home in Lower Clapton at the start of December 2025.

The house is a 4-bed with two bathrooms, a living room, ‘reception’ room, kitchen and a beautiful green foresty garden (frequented by many cats), split over 3 levels. The room becoming available is a double room that comes with a double bed and some shelving.

Currently in the house we have:
-Kat (she/they), into art, philosophy, movies, politics and games. She has a very active social life and values a relaxed energy and home.

-Maanav (he/him), loves nature, food and writing, and values living in a chill and quiet home, treating home as a sanctuary.

-Matilda (she/her), as above, nature lover, roller derby, investigative podcasts, passionate about social justice. Values home as a safe, calm and clean environment.

-Ram (Kat’s cat), ultimate cheeky boy, very playful and friendly. Always seeking best friends. Small age of 1 year

-Bobby (Matilda’s cat), mature little gentleman, likes lots of cuddles but trust must be earned (worship at his alter etc)

About you:
We are looking for someone who is also queer and who shares our values for how we want home to feel. We like to occasionally share meals or a chat during a lunch break (not an obligation) but feel it’s nice to connect with each other and not treat home as just a place to stop off for meals and bed. We keep our home clean and tidy and share this responsibility using a weekly rota. Generally the house is pretty calm but we do all have guests over from time to time to share meals etc. We would love for you to be someone who also fosters a sense of genuine care for the people they live with.

We’re all in our late 20s (cats not included) and ideally looking for someone who is late 20s-30+.

We all have hybrid jobs and wfh a few days a week so generally there will be someone home on most weekdays.
