Bright double room in Clapton

We’re looking for someone to take over my room in our cozy Clapton house from mid-February, as I’m moving in with my girlfriend. I’ve lived in this house for over 2 years and have loved every moment, i am very sad to be leaving!!

It’s a lovely Victorian townhouse with lots of character and wood floors throughout. We are located on a nice quiet road parallel to Chatsworth Road and within 5 min walk of Hackney Marshes, the canal and Millfields park. Chatsworth road is our local stomping ground and has tons of cute cafes, wine bars, and our favourite independent cinema – the Castle. We’re between Homerton and Clapton station so have good transport links, and there are also local busses that run frequently.

The house has a shared living room (with TV and sofa bed for guests), a fully kitted out kitchen, two shared bathrooms, lots of storage space including an attic, and a little back garden.

The room is a beautiful double bedroom with a large sash window. The room get tonnes of afternoon and evening sun and is a calm and lovely space. The room comes furnished with a bed, clothing rail, mirror and a small chest of drawers. Its a perfect size and is very adaptable to suit your needs!

You’ll be living with Harriet, Jamie, and Krissie – all in their early 30s and working professionals (charity, civil service, and mental health nursing). All like cooking, travelling, socialising. We are a friendly, sociable bunch who enjoys hanging out together, though we are out and about a lot too or doing our own thing. We can often can be found watching the traitors together, and going for a pint at one of our locals. They’re all great gals, who are very welcoming and a delight to live with!

Rent is £882 per month, plus bills. Deposit is roughly £800. Council tax £40 each per month, internet £7 per month, and gas and electric comes out every quarter and varies but is anywhere between £80-120/qr, water is £15 a month. We also have a cleaner every 3-4 weeks which is approximately £20 ish per month.

I’m looking for someone to take over the room from 17th February and we’re going to be doing viewings on 26th and 27th January.
