Description
Hiya, I’m Eliza and I’m looking for someone to takeover over the lease, for April 2026 - March 2027.
Room: available from 1st Apr 26 ! £950 ~ plus max £120 bills.
The room is massive with high ceilings, 17 m^2 and comes with wardrobes (3!!), bed, a mirror and a chest of drawers; the other furniture can be negotiated. It's at the far end of the house so sometimes we can't even hear the buzzer 🔇.
Flexible on furnished/unfurnished for the room, previous flatmate is willing to sell you some furniture. Bed and wardrobe racks come with the room.
It's a lovely, bright space with amazing flatmates and in one of (imo) the best areas of London!
A bit about me:
Eliza (me): (she/her) born and raised Londoner, 26, full time working in the charity sector, part time masters 📚 (still have to pay council tax). I’m Muslim, left wing, I love to travel, dance, read, go to the theatre, comedy shows, go to protests 🇵🇸 ✊and find good places to eat.
Ebony: (she/her) from the north originally then moved to london for uni ! a dancer who just got off a cruise ship and is also teaching on the side 🕺🏽 apart from dancing she loves to go for coffee (🫶🏽) watch plays and see live music
Flat details:
It's a three bed flat with large living room and separate kitchen. One bath shared but thankfully the toilet is separate from the shower room! It's a very bright flat with huge windows, and loads of storage. Kitchen has a full size oven and gas hob, full size fridge and washing machine. (The cat in the picture is no longer in the house but ideally someone cat friendly would be great).
Getting around:
🚉 1 minute walk (30 seconds if you run!) to Clapton Station (Weaver line) and 15 min to Rectory Road (other side of the Weaver Line)
2 Tesco Expresses, Co-op and loads of independent grocers (including one in our building!) within a 10-min walk
Chatsworth Road: 10 min bus (308)
Hackney Central: 15 min bus (253, 254, 106, 55, 38) or 20 min walk
Dalston: 15 min bus (488)
Right by the beautiful Lea Valley for cycling, walking, park runs or even ice skating!
The building itself is not step free but does have a lift. The common areas could do with a refresh but we figure it helps keeps the rent low for the size of the flat and location.
No students or couples please! Ideally someone that’s 25–35, that’s tidy and clean, identifies as a woman or queer and is up to hang out every now and then 😊
