The tree-lined street is very quiet (kids play football in the road) and is very close to an abundance of large green spaces whilst close to the heart of Hackney. A great cafe has opened on corner of road, Clapton Pond is 3 minutes walk where there is an excellent independent corner shop, a Tesco express and a growing number of desirable cafes and bars. Chatsworth Road with its Sunday market and multiple eating places is just round the corner. There is a large supermarket at Hackney Central, only 5 minutes on the bus, where you will also find a beautiful new cinema (Hackney Picturehouse), a theatre (Hackney Empire) and the library. Stoke Newington, Dalston and Shoreditch offer further possibilities for going out and are all in easy reach.

Transport links are good with Clapton station being a 7 minute walk with trains taking only 12 minutes to Liverpool Street. Ten different buses stop at Clapton Pond and you can catch the Overground at Hackney Central or Dalston Junction. In addition, Clapton is within easy cycling distance of the City and West End. Car parking is free on street.

We would like to live with somebody who works out of the house in the weekdays, has a relaxed and considerate nature who tidies up after themselves and pays their bills on time. A lovely old dog lives in the house, she is very well behaved. Shared Kitchen / living room, garden and two bathrooms (so you would have your own bathroom). Suitable for one person (no couples please).

To share with Choreographer/dance teacher and for half the time with her 2 children aged 6 and 8. They live with their dad on Thurs and Fridays and every other weekend. This is a very friendly, happy arrangement and means that house is just adult half of the time. A lovely well-mannered old dog lives in the house. The room costs £660 per month which includes internet, electricity and gas and council tax. If the gas and electricity bills increase then this will be reflected in the rent. A deposit of £660 would be required.
