Description

Set on a quiet residential street and overlooking a beautiful green park, this studio-style apartment extends across the top-floor of our family home. With an en-suite bathroom and kitchenette and cosy double bed set under the eaves, this is a wonderful space suitable for a single female who enjoys independent living within a family environment. Excellent transport links into central London make this perfect for someone who works or studies in London by day but would like to come home to a quiet and relaxing base in the evening.

We are an artistic couple with two young children who have previously rented this beautiful space to a female cellist, school teacher, international student, fashion stylist and architect for between one and two years each. We are keen to find someone who is easy-going and who likes children, as - despite the studio apartment being its own distinct space - it is within a family home. For safety and security we also ask that parties and partners are enjoyed off the property.

The house is located in the heart of Clapton, a friendly, vibrant community which has excellent pubs, restaurants, independent shops, Blok London gym, and a fantastic Sunday market (Chatsworth Road) just five minutes walk from the house. Stoke Newington, Hackney Central, London Fields and Dalston are all within twenty minutes (public transport or cycle). The property is well-situated for getting around London, by public transport or by car. On-street parking is available directly outside the house. Clapton Overground is just four minutes walk away, from where you can get to Liverpool Street rail station in under 15 minutes. From here you can access Central London (a further 13 minutes, by Underground), or stay local - Shoreditch, Brick Lane, Spitalfields and Columbia Road markets. Trains from Hackney Central Overground (15 minutes walk) go to Hampstead Heath (west) and Westfield Stratford City (east). Frequent buses take you to Camden and to Manor House station, from where you can travel into Central London.

Rent includes all utilities (water, electricity, gas, internet), and council tax. The space is part-furnished (see photos). A small security deposit of a half-months rent is required.
