Double+Study+Cupboard / 555 / July 4th / Clapton

Charlotte, our housemate, is finishing an internship in July and moving back to Germany so we have a double room to rent in a mixed 5 person shared house in a great part of Clapton. The bedroom comes with a separate study that would be ideal for someone working freelance or studying. The bedroom is small but fits a double bed, enough space for clothes in a chest of drawers, and there's hanging space in a cupboard outside of the room. The study has a large desk, bookshelf, two wall shelves and a garden view. The bedroom comes partly furnished (including bed) and the study furnished. The rooms are on the first floor.

The dining room is the main social space and we have speakers and a record player set up in there. That leads onto the kitchen, and from the kitchen you can access the back garden. There is one shared bathroom with bath/shower/toilet etc that has just been refitted by the landlord. There is also a second separate toilet.

Three of us have been living at this house for over two years and with each other before that for three years. We are all friends and so the room would suit someone who has some similar interests and that we feel we could be friends with. We all work in different areas: as an architect, in special needs education, photography and the arts. We tend to socialise at weekends and enjoy going out, but the house is quiet during the week.

Bills are about £70 a month and at the moment that includes gas, electricity, water, council tax, cleaner once every two weeks, internet and netflix for four. We also chip in a few pounds for a monthly delivery of household supplies like cleaning products, toilet roll etc.
