Description
We're Matthew and Samy, both late 20s. Matthew is an architect and Samy is a consultant. We're an LGBT+ friendly household (Matthew is gay) looking for a third housemate to join us from 4th July.
The flat is split across two levels. Downstairs are the bedrooms; upstairs is a large open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area with a kitchen island and three big glass patio doors that open onto two terraces. One small with a bistro table and a large rooftop terrace with outdoor seating, a firepit, BBQ, and plenty of plants. It's a proper entertaining space and we make full use of it.
The room fits a queen-sized bed, desk, and shelving, with an additional storage cupboard in the hallway. It comes mostly unfurnished, so you can make it your own. You'd share the main bathroom (one bedroom has an ensuite).
We're sociable and welcoming. We host dinners, movie nights, and the occasional party, and love bringing people together. At the same time, we're busy professionals who live independently and respect each other's space. We sometimes work from home together in the living area. We keep the flat very clean and well looked after, fresh flowers, investing in the space, making it feel like a proper home rather than just somewhere to sleep.
We're looking for someone who values that same energy: sociable, tidy, respectful of shared space, and up for contributing to a good home atmosphere. Vibe and fit matter a lot to us.
£850/month + bills (approx. £100–150/month). Available 4th July 2026.
