I am currently looking for a new flatmate for a two-bedroom flat in NW9 (Colindale, Zone 4). My old flatmate is moving to Manchester and his double bedroom is becoming available from 23 October onwards, maybe even a couple of days prior. It is a very cozy flat with a brand new kitchen and recently renovated (all walls have been painted fresh). The room would have a double bed and a lovely desk plus wardrobe and has a good size, especially for London. I think from a budget perspective it is really good value for money. The rent for the room is 615 GBP plus around 80-90 in utilities (water, internet, electricity and gas, plus around 90 in council tax), thus a bit under 800 per calendar month. The flat is around 15 min walk from Colindale station and 20 min walk from Kingsbury (Jubilee line) with good access to the city. There are lots of shops and eateries around with Morrisons, Aldi, Asda and MS and Bang Bang Oriental Food Hall all within 10 min walking distance.
I work from home full-time (I am 33), and I am looking for someone who is very independent, has an ample experience in a flatshare, is quiet and respectful, and helps me to maintain the flat with full co-rights on the contract. I am looking for someone who is independent and goes about their day mostly by themselves but likes a bit of a friendly chat in the evenings. Not to say I am unsocial, it is just that my job can be hectic, and it is a quiet house and I am looking for someone to reflects that vibe. I travel around 10-12 weeks a year for work and I tend to relax in the evenings. I love cooking and rescuing plants from supermarkets, and going for a drink from time to time is certainly something I would enjoy with the new flatmate.
Please message me as soon as possible, if you are interested to arrange a viewing this week.
The landlord requires proof of three past payslips, bank account info for the past three months, a reference from a past landlord as well as full ID disclosure plus right to rent (if no UK passport)
Best wishes,
Marilena
