Hello,
We have a room available in a great house in Colliers Wood from the 2nd of October 2025.
The house has two upper floors, fully furnished with a living room, big dining room and kitchen, two bathrooms (one is really big!) and has a lovely garden space with different seating and ‘lounging’ areas.
8 mins walk from Colliers Wood tube station on the Northern Line and just a short bus ride to Wimbledon station. Parking is available on the street if you apply for a resident permit.
The available room is situated on the second floor of the house and is north facing. It comes with a double bed (which has room for under-bed storage) and there's a large integrated cupboard just outside the room to save on space. We also have lots of other spaces in the house for common storage.
Rent for the room is £650 all bills included.
That’s £485 for the room + £165 for household bills : that includes water/gas/electric/council tax/tv licence/broadband/cleaner fee and enough leftover to replenish cleaning supplies, loo and kitchen paper, etc…
All bills come out of our household Monzo account.
Deposit is £576.75, to be paid to the housemate who will be leaving us.
We have a great relationship with our landlord, who is lovely and always there for any support. Our tenancy contracts are handled by a local estate agency.
Have a cleaner who comes every 2 weeks, her cost is included in the shared household bills. She cleans the common areas but not our rooms.
As for the current housemates, are 3 girls, Lella, Luana and Emma, in our early to mid 30s. We're looking for a new housemate, ideally in the same age range, who will also love and care for this amazing house! Anyone who have ever lived in it will say it has a magical, homey quality.
We are all friends and love to be in each other’s company but we appreciate our own space and down time too. We enjoy watching shows and movies together with a takeout or home cooked meal, working on the garden and giving the house makeovers for the holidays and birthdays :)
We all work in different fields : social care, fashion, retail and events. We’re also a house of different nationalities and languages : English, French and Italian/Sicilian. We’re a mix of work from home and office / on site. Our fibre broadband is fast and has wifi boosters to reach each floor efficiently.
We are open to any background and we're an LGBTQIA2S+ friendly house.
And finally we also have a house cat, called Keanu Reeves. He’s an indoor/outdoor tabby cat. He brings us a lot of joy and makes sure we don’t have any pest! No litter tray in the house either, he does all his business in corners of the garden! He’s outside a lot in the summer but loves to be inside in the colder months. He’s also best friends with our next door neighbour’s cat called Banana, who likes to visit us sometimes.
