Double room in Wimbledon

A double room available for £600 per month in SW19 in a three-bed house.

Move in date: October 1st

The room: Photos available on request (to avoid time wasters) The room has a double bed with a wardrobe and drawers and there is plenty of space for you to add anything else you would like.

The house: Large kitchen and living room area with a dining room table, a coffee table, large sofa (converts into double bed for guests) and TV. Downstairs bathroom with shower and toilet, shared between you and one other housemate, as the other has their own en-suite.

There is an outdoor space/ garden where a bike can be stored. There is also street parking but a permit is required.

Housemates: Kathryn (27, sports journalist) and Sara (31, occupational therapist). We are two working professionals who have busy schedules but also like to go out/ spend time together in the house when we can. We both tend to work from home but can often be travelling or out of the house for work too. We're looking for a similarly minded person to move-in with us.

Location/ Transport: The house is in a great location for transport and is under a 15 minute walk from Colliers Wood and South Wimbledon tube stations. It is just under 20 minute walk to Wimbledon mainline station or a six minute bus journey and there is a bus stop right outside the house. Haydons Road station is also a five minute walk away.

Bills: Spilt between tenants. Council tax (band d) is £66.33 per month. Electricity and gas varies depending on the time of year but is usually between £50-80 but can be much less in the summer months. Water is paid twice every year but is roughly £15-20 per month. Wifi is £10.50 per month.
