Description

I have a double room available in a lovely flat in Colliers Wood, about ten minutes’ walk from the Tube. The flat is a two-bed, one-bath on the first floor of a modern block, with a balcony looking out on trees at the back. There is plenty of space in the room for a desk as well as a double bed, and it comes with a large wardrobe, bedside drawers, bed/mattress, and chest of drawers.

The flat also has an open plan kitchen, living room and dining area. The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, oven, washing machine, dishwasher and most other kitchen equipment you would need. There is one large bathroom. There is also a communal roof terrace which is accessed from the 1st floor and a private parking space, which I am not using, and bicycle storage.

The location is super convenient - less than 10 minutes walk to Colliers Wood tube station (Zone 3, Northern Line) and Morden Road (Tram) and very close to Wimbledon, Tooting etc. Transport to Central London is great and we're close enough to the end of the Northern line that you nearly always get a seat.

There is a Nuffield Health practically next door and other gyms in the vicinity. There is a wide choice of supermarkets with a Sainsbury's, M&S, Boots, Aldi, Lidl, TK Maxx, Dunelm and Curry's all within 2-5 mins walk. There is also a McDonald's, Burger King, KFC, Pizza Hut, Nando's and Starbucks within 2-5 mins walk In addition to this, you can 'shop local' or enjoy a meal at the historic Merton Abbey Mills which is down the road and take a scenic walk through Morden Hall Park (National Trust) or Wandle Park. Fingers crossed you won't need it (unless you work there!) but St. George's Hospital is also close by.

You will be sharing with me - I work in PR/Communications and go to the office 2-3 times a week in the city. I love cooking, reading, and exploring new places, and looking for a friend in my flatmate, be it chatting in the living room with a glass of wine, going out together or hosting a dinner party!

Bills are £185 a month in addition to the rent. Council tax band: D.
