I have a room available in my flat in Colliers Wood. Situated on a quiet residential street, it’s a first floor maisonette, with a downstairs neighbour but no one upstairs. It’s 250m from Colliers Wood underground which is on the Northern Line, so only a short five minute walk.
The room comes furnished with a small double bed, mattress and bedside table. There’s also an external cupboard you can use as a wardrobe or for extra storage.
I’m looking for a short-term-ish lodger. The flat is currently on the market, so while I’m anticipating at least 6 months, there’s some flexibility depending on when a buyer is found. I want to be upfront that timings could change with notice. There would also be occasional viewings whilst looking for a buyer.
You’d be sharing a three-bed flat with me:
-One bedroom (mine)
-One bedroom (yours)
-A third room used exclusively as my home office, as I work from home full-time
There’s a shared living room, kitchen with dining table, bathroom, and a garden.
A bit about me: I’m a 33 year old Occupational Therapist, working remotely for a psychiatry service. I also have an adorable indoor cat called Pebbles (5½ years old), so you’d need to be comfortable living with a cat 🐱
I’m into CrossFit, running, cycling, chilling, eating and drinking, sooo usual stuff. Home is a calm, relaxed space rather than a party house, though I do like going out from time to time.
A few important things to note:
-The room wouldn’t suit someone who works from home full-time due to space
-You’ll need to be LGBTQ+ friendly. I’m gay and want the flat to feel safe and inclusive
-I’m looking for someone respectful, open-minded, and easygoing
