Lovely Double Room – Colliers Wood/Tooting.

A bright, fully furnished double room in a spacious and homely two-bed flat, on a lovely quiet street between Colliers Wood and Tooting. You’d only be sharing with me, so it’s very much a home rather than a busy house share, with a shared lounge, garden and two bathrooms.

The room comes furnished with a double bed and wardrobe, and I can also leave the bedside table and shelving if useful. There isn’t currently a desk, but there is space to add one with a little rearranging, and you’re also very welcome to work from the lounge.

All bills are included in the rent, covering Wi-Fi, council tax, water, gas and electricity, as well as a fortnightly cleaner.

A little about me – I’m Ali, 31, and work in marketing. I’m friendly and sociable but also pretty independent and enjoy my own downtime, so I’d love to find someone with a similar balance. I like the flat to feel relaxed, clean and homely, and I’m always happy to have a chat or share a glass of wine, while equally being respectful of each other’s space.

Location-wise, it’s around a 10-minute walk from Colliers Wood station and 15–20 minutes from Tooting station, with plenty of bus routes nearby and Wimbledon Village really easy to get to. There are gyms, cafés and other local businesses within around 5–10 minutes, plus a large Sainsbury’s and M&S around a 15-minute walk away.

It’s a really comfortable, peaceful place to come home to while still being well connected, and I’m looking for someone friendly, clean and considerate who wants a nice home rather than simply a room to rent.
