The flat is on Sidney Street, essentially on Commercial road. It's on the 9th floor, in a gated building, with views of all the major sky scrapers from the kitchen window and a 5 minute walk from Shadwell Station, 10 minute walk from Whitechapel station and a 20 minute walk to Brick lane/ Aldgate. The building itself is very safe, clean and well looked after. All the neighbours are polite, friendly and respectful. The room is double, large amount of storage space and a desk, with lovely views. The flat has a good sized homely kitchen with a dish washer and washing machine etc.
Very friendly landlord, we also have a contract with an external company so can contact if anything needs fixing it will happen immediately. He may be flexible on deposit but I cannot say for certain - students welcome also but may have to contribute to council tax.
To introduce ourselves, myself (Maggie) work in Marketing and Connor who is doing a PHD, so currently both working from home. In the evenings we are either out at the gym, or with friends etc (lockdown dependent). Both pretty chilled, like to keep the place clean, like a drink and to chill out a lot at weekends :)
