We have a room with balcony for rent in Covent Garden for £1300 pcm + bills (~ £150pp pcm). Bond £1152
📝 The non-negotiables 📝
- You will go on the lease and need to meet our landlord in person, so you will need good rental history and to pass income checks, etc.
- Move in date is 30 December or soon after, we don’t mind 2-3 weeks later for the right person (as long as all paid upfront in December to secure)
- Rent is paid monthly to us, and we pay the landlord upfront every 3 months (full transparency - you will see the lease and amount we pay)
- The bond (£1152) and first month rent (£1300) to be paid upfront (so £2452 total to pay straight away to secure the place).
- Our lease ends 22 May 2025, no plans for renewal yet but open to it.
- Must be clean and tidy 😃

- We are Jason and Joey, a couple from Brisbane, Australia and have been in london for 6 months
- Love to travel (we are away at least one weekend a month), love theatre, learning languages, the beach and generally life outdoors
- Very much open to making new friends and having dinner / drinks at our place with everyone’s friends etc.
💻 The routine stuff: 🏢
- Jason is an engineer WFH Monday & Friday
- Joey is in Finance, in office 3 days / week, sometimes more.
🛌 The space and place 🏡
- The room and storage space is spacious enough for 1 person. Bed is included - ie fully furnished place.
- Your room is at the back on the apartment with your own private balcony, far away from the street side.
- There is a built-in desk in the room which could potentially be used for WFH - not sure how comfortable it is, otherwise you can use the living room space (we can discuss arrangements when we meet you, etc.)
- The kitchen and bathroom are all very modern with great appliances and cooking utensils (Nutra bullet and Air fryer)
- Fantastic location on Drury Lane, close to so many Tube stations and lines
- The lounge room is west facing and gets amazing sunlight and warmth in winter (haven’t turned heater on yet) and a great breeze in summer.
🥰 It’s genuinely an amazing apartment and area to live in, we really love it and hope to find someone who will too! ❤️
