Description
Hey there!
I am renting my room from the 4th of August until the 7th of September (but you can leave earlier than that if you’d like) as I'll be away during that time.
It’s a double-bed room, really cute and cosy, with loads of storage for clothes, in a 3 bedroom flat that has a really lovely living room and a big kitchen. You’d only be sharing the bathroom with one person, Justin, who’s really discreet and only uses the shower at night after work. The 2 other flatmates are a couple, Inés & Pearl, who have their own bathroom in their en-suite.
Located NW2 3PA.
Cost of the bedroom is £920 for 1 month, including bills. So that would be £920 from 1st of August until the 1st of September, and if you’d like to stay until the 7th of Sep, it will be a little extra.
Regarding visits, I will be away from Wednesday the 29th of July, but can ask one of my flatmates to help out, and we can jump on a video call to answer each other’s questions.
🛏️ About the room:
It’s a cosy double-bed bedroom, facing South, so there is sun all afternoon long. As you can see on the picture, I’m a musician, and I’ll be leaving my keyboard in the bedroom. I’ll make as much space as possible in wardrobes and in the bathroom. As this room is not gigantic, this will be ideal for someone who is staying in London for a short period of time and only has a few suitcases, as opposed to someone who is hoping to fit in all their move in boxes whilst looking for another place. But it you manage to make everything fit into the room, then good for you hehe!
📍About the location:
We are 12min away from Kilburn Station (Jubilee line), 9min away from Cricklewood station (Thameslink) and 16min away from Brondesbury station (Overground - Mildmay line). (all walking distances)
We also have loads of buses 3min away from our place.
Grocery stores and amenities are all very accessible. Tesco and a big Co-op are a 10min walk away, and West Hampstead is a 20min walk away, with loads of super cute coffee shops and restaurants + a Waitrose and a M&S. There is also a Lidl, 20min walk away (or 10min on bus).
If you're a gym person, we have an Energy Fitness gym literally 3min away from our place, many other gyms around the area, and we even have a David Lloyd Clubs fitness & well-being centre only 10min walk away from us!
👥 About us:
We are a very friendly household and like to make our flat feel like a home. I’ve decorated most of the living room and entrance, and it’s really important to us that the flat feels like a safespace that we come home to after a long day at work, and not just a space where various strangers live.
You would be staying with Justin, Pearl & Inés:
- Justin is 29, and is from Australia. He currently runs an AI research lab and spends most of his time at work. He likes travelling, running and anything AI related. He likes travelling for conferences across the world, and goes back to Australia about once a year.
- Inés & Pearl are a couple and stay in the same room. Inés works in recruitment and Pearl works in hospitality. They’re super nice and good vibes, and also really quiet and tidy. They are currently looking for a new flat, so they will be moving out by the end of the summer.
They all work a lot and don’t use the living room, nor the kitchen much, so it’s very likely that you’ll be in the common areas mostly by yourself. :)
The vibe in the house is very chill, we all have our independent lifestyles, and are very respectful of each other. We’re all about communicating, whether we’d like to invite someone over or need to share something about the house.
We have a chill cleaning rota, where we have someone vacuum the house once a week, and otherwise we just ask that each person cleans after themselves, just so that the common areas are nice and breathable for everybody. :))
✍️ About you:
I am looking for a woman / woman-identifying, to take over my room whilst I am away. I’d like to leave my room to someone clean, tidy and respectful. I absolutely love my room, so I’m only looking to find it in the same state as I left it when coming back from my time away. :)
Unfortunately, at the moment, we cannot accept pets. Ideally, you would be in an age-range of 18 to 35 years old. We do not smoke, so we would prefer not to have a smoker.
✨ Thank you for reading this far! If you’re interested, send me a message with a few information about you, and with your availabilities for an online call. :)
