Large double room on the top floor of a Victorian terrace with your own bathroom.

In addition to your room, you will also have access to the office on the 1st floor and on the ground floor you will have your own lounge space (both spaces are shared with the other renter) and we will all share the open plan kitchen / dining area and south facing garden.

Kitchen / Dining: Very large open plan space with island, table and chairs, sofa, dishwasher, separate fridge and freezer, steam oven, instant boiling water tap. 8 burner cooking range with two ovens and grill.

Garden: Doors opening out onto south facing large patio with seating and BBQ, lawn, vegetable and flower beds.

The house is maintained to a high standard and features high ceilings, double glazed windows and wooden / tiled floors. The house will have a cleaner every two weeks.

Transport / Area

This area is clean, quiet and safe with access to good parks and nearby shops, restaurants, bars and services. It is well connected for travel into London with free street parking, good access to buses and lime bikes.

There is quick access by bike; 25 mins to the City, 30 mins West End or 40 mins to Canary Wharf via safe cycle routes. I also have two spaces in a secure street CycleHoop bike store 20- away for those with bikes.

You will be sharing myself, a 45 year old male owner who works long hours in the City. I will be travelling to Canada every 6 to 8 weeks to see my wife and children and will be away most weekends so you’ll have the house to yourself a lot.

I will also be letting a second room from mid September / October on the first floor adjacent to my room. The person in the first floor room will share the main bathroom with myself. ***If you are interested in both rooms let me know***

The room is available from 9th August until middle of August 2025 when my family will return from Canada.

Key considerations:

- I am looking for a long term lodger for a minimum of 6 months
- If there are two of you looking for a room each, happy to discuss this but the second room would only be available from mid September
- Couples would be considered
- I am looking for a working, tidy, respectful non smoking working professional
- References will be required
- Working from home is fine, subject to understanding working patterns
- Rent is inclusive of Council Tax, other utilities are in addition
- 1 Month rent upfront deposit required with rent paid 1st of month
