Description
Double room in 2nd floor flat currently with one male tenant and his cat Norman.
The room is a double, has a double bed, bedside table, shelving unit, clothes rack, chair, lamp, some storage boxes, access to vacuum/carpet washer, and various other items that may be of use. Things do not have to stay, other things from the living room can be swapped if desired. Gets a fair amount of sun from about 11am-6pm (presuming it is out obviously), There's ultra fibre that has never let me down, and I do a lot of big file work online.
The previous other tenant lived here for 3 years, and left to live in another country, so the room is available for this reason.
Flat has all the normal things you'd probably expect from a flat: bathroom (shower cubicle, no bath), kitchen with the usual appliances (no dishwasher...) and a storage room which houses various useful things (like tools and cleaning equipment). There is a council bike hangar on the road but it costs £65 p/a and has a waiting list, so I keep my bike in the kitchen, and you are welcome to do so too.
There are good transport connections immediately outside the property, Crofton Park station and the bus stop for 171/172/122. The P4 is also very close. A walk to Ladywell also gets you direct to Charing Cross.
About me: I work at UCL and am out a fair amount of the week. I spend a good chunk of time in the gym or making music, and the rest relaxing. I've lived here a fair while and the landlord has been pretty good throughout this time (will have things fixed relatively quickly is needed).
Norman is the cat. He is hairy. If you have bad allergies this is not something you could cope with at all. He does not have to be let into your bedroom if you don't want him to be in there, but he will try his luck if you leave the door open. He does have access to the rest of the property.
The flat would best suited to someone that considers themselves mature; consciously aware of social space, understanding of cleaning communal places and respectable of others belongings. And like most shares, this cannot be iterated enough.
The room is not a couples sharing affair, but there is obviously no reason why partners/friends/parents(?) cannot visit and stay a few days etc. However, the offer will be revoked if a couple attempt to circumvent this.
Rent is £710pcm all bills included, payable on the 24th of every month. As the room is available on an off-date, rent would be divided by the days left in the month.
If this sounds like something you are interested in, let me know and we can arrange a viewing (in person or video walk if desired) and have a chat.
