Description
THE FLAT: fully furnished, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, kitchen, bright living room, large balcony with lovely views over the river Thames and Greenwich.
THE ROOM: Double bed, double wardrobe storage unit, 4 draw chest of drawers and own bathroom (toilet, shower, basin)
LOCAL TRANSPORT: 10 min walk to Crossharbour: DLR Station; 5 minutes on the DLR to Canary Wharf where you can get the Jubilee Line and lots of local busses to take you into central London; the City or Shoreditch.
LOCAL AREA: Only 10 min walk to a big 24-hour Asda (or 5 min trip to local Nisa), by Crossharbour station there is also a Tesco and in Canary Wharf there is also a Waitrose and M&S. Further lots of great bars & restaurants in Canary Wharf and Greenwich (20 minute walk via the Thames path and foot tunnel)
LOOKING FOR: A clean, easy going, down-to-earth person, who is fairly similar to me (active, sporty, enjoys life), a good laugh and up for a decent chat when we're both in but also respectful of each other’s privacy.
ABOUT ME: I am from Holland and have been living in London for nearly 11 years. I work in the Borough Market area for a Private Equity team and I also have my own business as a therapist/coach in Clerkenwell. I enjoy sport (Pilates and cycling); outdoor activities; photography; reading books and socialising with friends and the general good food and wine or a pint of ale!
OTHER FLAT INFO: The flat (Maisonette) is on the fifth and sixth floor (top floor of the building) and a separate, secure bike storage is available. There is also car parking space (you will need to request a permit for this via the management agency which is free of charge).
RENT: £600 per month plus your half of all bills (council tax, electricity, gas, water, TV licence, and broadband) which I've calculated should come to round about £145 per month. I am in the process of hiring a cleaner so this cost will come on top of the bills.
TIMING: Move in date would be around end November/early December.
IF YOU'RE KEEN: Please send me a message and include a bit of a background about yourself (see below for a few pointers but the more the merrier), and we can arrange a meet up & show round of the flat, if you seem a good fit.
WHAT TO INCLUDE: Age / job / where you live, who you live with and how long you've lived there / when you can move in / what you like doing in your spare time / what you might do in a typical week or weekend / what you'd be looking for in a flatmate / any questions you may have for me
Thanks!
