Bright Double Room in Peaceful Crouch End Flat

A bright double room is available in a peaceful, well-located top-floor flat in the heart of Crouch End.

The flat is literally one minute from the Arthouse and Picturehouse cinemas, The Queen's pub, and a great selection of cafés, bars and restaurants. Waitrose, Sainsbury's and Tesco are all around two minutes' walk away.

The flat has a bright, spacious living room, a well-equipped kitchen and all the usual amenities. The layout gives both bedrooms a good degree of privacy, and there is also additional storage space.

Bills (gas, electricity, council tax – Band C, water and internet) currently average around **£160–£200 per month**.

You'd be sharing with me, James, 48, a long-term tenant. I'm a sound designer and work from home on radio drama, film and music projects, usually from my room. Outside work I'm a music and film fan, and enjoy reading, cooking, going to the gym and travelling when I can.

I'm looking for a friendly, reliable and considerate flatmate who is clean and tidy, communicates well, and values both a pleasant shared home and each other's privacy. Ideally we'd be friendly and occasionally share a meal, film or drink, but there's no expectation to socialise constantly.

The flat is furnished. The room can be furnished or unfurnished, depending on your preference. The photos were taken at different times over the past few years, which explains the differences in furnishings.

Please note: As I work from home, the room would be best suited to someone who works mainly outside the flat. In my experience, two people working from home full-time in a two-bedroom flat is just a little too much togetherness—even for otherwise lovely people.
