Hello potential new housemate :)
There are two rooms going in our lovely house on the border of Crouch End and Highgate. It is a really beautiful house split across three levels with LOTS of space.
The kitchen contains all the appliances (large fridge, dishwasher, microwave, gas hob, air fryer) and PLENTY of storage space. Downstairs in the utility there is a brand new washing machine and two freezers. We have a large separate living/dining room - we actually have 2 brand new couches and a nice new dining table not featured in the pictures. We are extremely fortunate to have two separate terraces – one directly off the kitchen and one on the roof. The roof has fantastic views looking over Queens Wood, Crouch End, Muswell Hill and Ally Pally, and is great during the warmer months (or watching the fireworks!).
Both rooms contain a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers, and are £700/month - a STEAL for the area. There is lots of storage under the staircase. The future housemate will share the downstairs bathroom (and an additional wc upstairs) with two others.
The house is in a fantastic area – it is a 12 minute walk to Highgate tube station, and a 7 minute walk to the centre of Crouch end that has a Sainsbury's, Tesco, M+S, Waitrose, pharmacies, bakeries and other lovely eateries and pubs. We are also fortunate to have lovely green spaces on our doorstep including Queens Wood, Highgate Wood, Priory park, and Ally Pally park. Hampstead heath is a 30-minute walk away. If you drive, there is private gated parking available outside of the house. If you cycle, we have storage to accommodate bikes.
The current housemates are Emily, Charlotte and Sophie. Emily is a primary school teacher, Charlotte is a copywriter, and Sophie works in the civil service. The flat is LGBTQIA+ friendly. All have lived together for the last two years.
The departing housemates Mykayla and Michael have loved living in this house and area (for Mykayla, three and a half years!), but are both re-locating south separately.
The bills come to approximately £100-130 a month including internet, gas, electricity and council tax. Contract runs until August 2025 with the option of extending for another year. Standard break clause for individuals included in the tenancy agreement. If you have any questions or would like to arrange a viewing, please reply to this ad!
