Description
Spacious double bedroom in the ground floor of a lovely Victorian House on a quiet street with an ensuite shower room. There is a double bed and large fitted wardrobe with drawers. A computer desk and chair can be provided, if required. You would be sharing the common spaces including a contemporary kitchen, living/dining room, and a huge, tree-lined garden with us: a professional musician and a writer.
The rent is payable monthly, with one calendar month in advance. It covers all bills, including council tax, utilities, Wifi, and weekly provision of clean bedlinen and towels. A deposit of one month, a copy of your ID (passport or driving licence) and two references (work and previous tenancy) are required.
Our previous lodgers have been professionals who work in London for short or long stays or who work in London only on weekdays or who work from home as designers. It has also been a successful Airbnb rental.
A local M&S is 5 minutes walk away with more small supermarkets and specialist food shops including a health food shop, which can be found in Crouch End itself a short distance beyond. The area is very appealing, green and leafy, with many restaurants and cafes, two cinemas, local parks including the Parkland Walk: a former railway line, and varied outdoor sports facilities including a heated swimming pool.
There are frequent transportation links into Central London and beyond via the London Underground from Finsbury Park Station (Victoria and Piccadilly Lines) and Archway Station (Northern Line) as well as Overground trains from Crouch Hill station, and buses (W7, 41, 91).
