A double room available from the 8th February for long term person looking for a good home in a spacious shared house in Hornsey/Crouch End.
Rent pcm: £780

The room: Comes with a bed that you can buy from our current housemate and with book shelves built into the wall but the rest of the furniture will be moved. There is also an option to have the room unfurnished and have the bed removed, we are flexible.
Costs: Bills can get up to around £150 pcm but this may drop a bit over the summer. This includes the Council Tax (Band E). **Deposit is £865**
House: There's a main bathroom shared between three plus a downstairs loo. The kitchen is well stocked with all mod-cons and good for cooking up a feast. There is also a garden with a climbing wall if that floats your boat. We also have a guest room with a double bed for visitors 😊
Location: 5 min walk to Hornsey (fast train to Moorgate). 10 min walk to Crouch End. 10 min bus or train to Finsbury Park (Victoria line). 15 min walk to Turnpike Lane (Piccadilly line). 20 min walk to Wood Green.
Us: You'd be sharing with 3 other housemates, all lovely, mature and considerate. Dan (he/him, IT consultant), Danny (he/him, musician), and Neil (he/him, filmmaker). Plus a little spaniel (Suki) who is the best - well trained, big personality, loves people, squirrels and biscuits. This does mean no more pets though. Everyone hangs out when they are not busy, for chats, dinners and vino (mood dependent), so it's always a friendly vibe. Of course, there is no expectation to hang out, it’s a grown-up house and everybody enjoys their independence. We are an LGBT friendly house.
You: Would prefer someone in the same age range (30+).
Credit check: the referencing process is done through a letting agency which uses an online service to perform a credit check, employment check and proof of income; a permanent job with a salary of at least £25.5k pa would be an automatic approval. Self-employed, proof of savings or a guarantor can also be used. It's fairly quick and can be completed online but passing it is a requirement for the tenancy agreement so please bear this in mind.
