Description
Spacious double room available in a bright top-floor 2-bed flat in Crouch End.
The flat has a large living room with a working gas fireplace, two balconies (one overlooking Alexandra Palace), a large kitchen separate to living room, and a large bathroom with bath/shower. 15 min bus to Finsbury Park Station, with cafés, pubs and shops super close by.
The room:
* Very large double with built-in wardrobe
* Access to shared balcony (connected to the living room)
* £1,050 pcm + bills (around £150, more in winter)
* Available early December
* The flat came unfurnished however it is now completely furnished - I have worked very hard finding and restoring the furniture you see in the photos - however plants are welcomed, and also kitchen or pantry bits you want to use, as all of it belongs to me.
* The room is unfurnished other than the big built in wardrobe, although the current tenant is willing to sell the king size bed frame and mattress.
* Council tax band C.
About me:
I’m a full-time chef, which means that I work some evenings. I’m organised, not just tidy, but clean, and enjoy a healthy(ish) lifestyle — think yoga, cooking/baking, dinner parties, pub trips, and film nights. I also love photography as that’s what I studied at uni and I also make jewellery.
Looking for:
A clean, considerate and proactive professional who’s organised, hygienic, and respectful of shared spaces. This isn’t a party flat - I’d prefer someone productive, up during the day, and who takes pride in keeping the place feeling like a calm, comfortable and clean/tidy home (kitchen surfaces/stove wiped after use, weekly hoovering, cleaning bathroom, cleaning kitchen, mopping floors, dusting etc.). I don’t mind guests occasionally, but no long-term or frequent visitors, please. Sorry, no couples!
Someone who enjoys their own company would be ideal, as we’ll sometimes be like passing ships with my evening work. I’m always friendly and up for a chat when we cross paths, but I appreciate a flatmate who’s independent and comfortable doing their own thing like I am. Minimum stay is 1 year and hopefully we can renew for another year.
If this sounds like a good fit for you, message me with a bit about yourself and when you’d be looking to move. We can then arrange a viewing and a very unserious interview.
