I have a double room available to rent in my 2-bed flat in Crouch End from 9th November. It’s a lovely, affordable spot with a hint of vintage charm - I’ve lived here for a year and really like it.

I’m a full-time musician, writer and private tutor - I love music, art, literature, film, travelling and cooking, and ideally I’d like to share with a fellow creative or someone who has similar interests. Looking for someone easy-going, open-minded, clean and respectful who enjoys a relaxed, friendly home vibe.

The flat is on the second floor (attic level) just off Crouch End Broadway. It's been renovated, carpeted and freshly painted recently, so it’s in great condition and very peaceful.

The room comes with a wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk and clothes rail. You would just need to bring a bed (they come up for free locally fairly often on FreeCycle if that would be a good solution for you).

The Flat:
- 2 bedrooms
- Living room (currently a studio in the photos – will be furnished with sofas, coffee table and wardrobe/cabinet)
- Fully equipped kitchen
- Bathroom with bath & shower
- Huge shared garden

Rent & Bills:
- Rent £900/month
- Bills around £180/month per person (gas/electric, water, internet, council tax)

The landlord is very sweet and laid-back, and he has entrusted me with the contract to keep things simple and flexible. The deposit is 2 week's rent, fully refundable when you move out (with one month’s notice on either side). Open to short lets but ideally looking for someone long-term if it’s a good fit.

Crouch End is a lovely area with a great community feel, friendly, green and very safe. There are plenty of supermarkets (Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, M&S), pubs, indie cinemas, cafés, parks, gyms and some of London’s best charity shops all within a stroll.

Transport links:
- Hornsey (National Rail) & Crouch Hill (Overground): 5-10 mins walk
- Finsbury Park (Victoria) & Archway (Northern): 7-10 mins by bus
- Bus stops just 1 min away
