Description
A good size, south facing room with balcony is available now in my flat near Crouch End, and a 5 minute walk from Hornsey Station.
The flat has plenty of space - with a large living room, a good dining area in the kitchen, and a garden.
I live here with a close friend, and flatmate, Emma.
We are friendly and open, and enjoy living with a community spirit. We clean together once a week, and regularly connect over meals, or chats and cups of tea, or watching something together. On Fridays, a close friend of ours co-works from the flat, and we take turns to cook for a shared lunch together. Every 6 weeks or so we have been hosting a Potluck in the flat , to hang out with our extended group of friends :)
To give you an idea about us: We are both interested in human relating, communication, social justice, living life fully and exploring our inner and outer worlds. We love good food and cooking, dance and silliness!
It is important to us to that whoever moves in is up for communicating openly and honestly, whilst being curious about and taking responsibility for their own triggers. We hope that this would support a sense of ease and comfort in our living environment.
Emma works as a Non-Violent Communication teacher and Coach, and I am a Psychotherapist.
In terms of transport, it is easy to get into town and around as Hornsey station is a 5 minute train ride to Finsbury Park where you can join the Victoria line. It is a 15 minute journey to Old Street. You can also walk to Turnpike Lane in 15 mins, or jump on a bus to Archway.
There is good nature nearby; Alexandra Palace, and Queens Woods, Highgate Woods, Finsbury Park, and our little favourite local park, called Stationers Park.
Crouch End is full of cafes, restaurants, cinemas and such like.
If you are interested in the room, I'd appreciate if you could provide brief responses to the following questions:
1) What do you do to relax and have fun?
2) What do you do with your time? (work etc.)
3) What would your ideal flatshare be like?
We are hoping to meet a few potential flatmates this Sunday, 28th April.
We look forward to hearing from you :)
