My lovely furnished double room with an additional large storage space has become available in our bright, airy rooftop flat. IThe flat itself is spacious, includes a large living room that comes with an extra toilet for guests, and a roof terrace shared with our neighbours, plus a communal garden connected with the wood in the backyard. It is located in an old, but refurbished elegant Victorian building that once upon a time used to be a spa. The rest of the flat is also fully furnished with a washing machine, dishwasher and two fridges with utensils, but please feel free to bring your design taste or pieces of furniture with you. Bills around £150 - the house is naturally warm in winter and with good air circulation during summer. You'd only be sharing the bathroom and toilet with one other person (Jamie) as one of the bedrooms has an ensuite.
The flat also comes with two professionals, Robin, who's a sound engineer (albeit a quiet one who does his work elsewhere:) ) with a love for art, reading and travelling. Jamie works in business development, likes going to the gym and gaming. :) We like socialising together with the occasional drink or a walk, but also respect each other's privacy. We are looking for a friendly, like-minded person, who enjoys the perks of the green areas and up for movie nights. It would be lovely to have someone who looks after the house and feels at home just like we do.
We are just a short bus ride away from Crystal Palace, Norwood Junction, and Thornton Heath Stations, and have bus stops available almost in front of the house for buses that can take you to Elephant and Castle, Croydon, and Brixton and night bus service to central London. Crystal Palace triangle is only a 10-minute walk away with plenty of restaurants and pubs, and a big Sainsbury's, and you can also enjoy 6 parks within walking distance and 15 min walking to LIDL and ALDI.
