Description
I have a room in my flat available for a WEEKDAY ONLY lodger.
We're situated right between Dulwich Upper Wood and Crystal Palace triangle - so a few steps from either a peaceful bit of woodland or a vibrant shopping/eating and drinking area. Transport-wise a short walk from either Gipsy Hill or Crystal Palace overground stations, with frequent trains into London Bridge, Victoria, Clapham Junction or towards Highbury and Islington (intersecting with Canada Water and Jubilee line for either the city or East London and then into the centre.) The road is also right opposite Crystal Palace Parade bus station, very handy for many routes (including the 3 for getting back safely late at night.)
The room has a comfortable double bed, fitted wardrobes, drawers and shelves, a desk and TV. There is no ensuite but a large bathroom shared only with myself and I am likely to be away at times during the week. It's a Monday to Friday room at the moment because it's in use most weekends when my daughter comes to stay. However you're welcome to stay the odd weekend (within reason!) at no extra cost. I'm very used to having lodgers and good at striking a balance between sociability and privacy. The large kitchen diner is also shared between the two of us.
I've put 6 months as a temporary guideline for the maximum length of stay. But this may be extended. I also usually suggest a one-month period of getting to know each other in any case.
Looking forward to finding the right person who will enjoy this lovely space.
