I'm looking for a lodger for a very bright, good sized double bedroom with an additional, large walk-in cupboard. There's also extra storage available for rent in a secure, external shed and lock up garage. The room can be let either furnished or unfurnished and has a large clothes rail and shelves in the walk-in, if needed i can provide a double bed frame, chest of drawers and some other items. The room measures 3.6m x 3.1m, the walk-in is 1.85m x 1.4m.
It's an upper floor, two bedroom maisonette, on the super quiet Sylvan Road Estate in Crystal Palace, with great parking, good access to public transport and surrounded on 2 sides by the local park. There are two bedrooms and a decent size bathroom upstairs, kitchen and large living room with a small, but very sunny balcony downstairs.
410 bus is 1 minute away and Crystal Palace station is 15, as is the Crystal Palace Triangle, Norwood Junction station is a 20 minute walk, or 5 by bus,
I keep the flat very clean, I'm quiet, polite, friendly and easy to live with, I like my privacy and I'm very respectful of other's space and would like to find someone similar. I'm in my early 50's, work locally in property maintenance and occasionally as a cat and dog sitter. LGBTQIA+ friendly. I'm fine with occasional visitors, or partners staying over from time to time in a respectful way and am open to having well behaved, clean, well looked after pets here.
The room is available from 8/12/2024 and the rent, including all bills is £900. I am the sole tenant and will be acting as landlord, I have an agreement with the owner to have 1 lodger.
