Sunny double room in beautiful Crystal Palace home

We're subletting our lovely room while we are away on holiday, and we're looking for someone (or a couple) who'll enjoy the house as much as we do.

The room is bright and sunny, with a beautiful view over the trees. Waking up here genuinely feels a bit like waking up in a forest, even though you're still in London and well conected to central. It's peaceful, full of birdsong, and one of the things we'll miss most while we're away.

The house itself has a cosy countryside feel that's rare in London, with a huge shared kitchen and living room, plenty of space to cook, and a big dining table.

Upstairs you'll also find a lovely roof garden with plants, different seating areas, and beautiful views—ideal for a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

The bathroom is very spacious and beautifully finished, with both a bathtub and a separate shower. It's only shared with one other room, occupied by a lovely young professional couple.

The house has five bedrooms in total and a genuinely friendly international household. Everyone is respectful, easy-going and independent. Our live-in landlady is wonderful—kind, relaxed, funny, and always happy to help if anything comes up. She lives on the ground floor, while this room is on the first floor.

Location

Crystal Palace is one of South London's nicest neighbourhoods, with independent cafés, pubs, restaurants and plenty of green space.

Around 4 minutes' walk to the nearest bus stop, with regular buses to Brixton Underground (Victoria Line) in around 20–25 minutes.
About 10 minutes' walk to Crystal Palace Station, with direct trains to London Bridge (around 20–25 mins), Victoria (around 30 mins) and other central London destinations.
Just 7 minutes from the beautiful Crystal Palace Park, home to the famous Victorian dinosaurs—freshly restored 🦖

£55 per night
£50 per night for stays of **7 nights or longer

For a couple
£75 per night
£65 per night for stays of 7 nights or longer

All bills and Wi-Fi are included.

Available from 6–24 August.

The room will be completely yours during your stay, with wardrobe space and fresh bed linen and towels provided.
