Description
!ROOM AVAILABLE MON-FRI ONLY - NOT WEEKENDS!
Double room available in two-bed 1930s flat, just off Crystal Palace triangle. 7 mins walk to Crystal Palace train station (25 mins direct train to London Bridge, Victoria or Shoreditch). And easy to get to Brixton, Clapham or Peckham Rye by bus. Gypsy Hill and Sydenham Hill train stations are also walkable.
The bedroom has a comfy double bed with storage drawers, a wardrobe, a desk, a small table and blackout blinds. I could put some drawers in if you need.
The flat has direct access to a big communal garden that's seldom used, and it on a quiet, leafy street although minutes away from the restaurants, bars and cafes of Crystal Palace triangle. There's free on street parking too.
If you don't know Crystal Palace, it's a great area with a real sense of community, and recently won No. 1 best area to live in London (Google the Times article!). It has nice pubs, independent shops and a huge park with the famous dinosaurs. It's a leafy, pleasant area that feels safe. There are lots of exercise options nearby; a sports centre in the park, and lots of independent gyms/yoga studios, and outdoor fitness options in the park.
The price shown is for 5 nights per week, which includes council tax, water, broadband, a weekly clean, household essentials such as loo roll, washing up liquid & handwash. The only thing not included is energy bills. We'll split that monthly based on how many nights you stay. (My last part-time lodger paid £60 total over four months for energy. We have the heating quite low though!). I would be open to someone staying 4 nights per week for £528 plus energy bill as above.
A bit about me - 40 year old social researcher. Friendly, tidy and respectful. I'm fairly quiet and don't tend to have friends over during the week.
Room sizes:
Your bedroom - 3.5m x 2.5m
Living room - 3.4m x 3.6m
Kitchen - 2.5m x 2.9m
