Description
I am looking for a friendly, easy-going and tidy housemate to share my home in Crystal Palace. I would love to find someone who becomes a friend, and who is up for occasionally hanging out at home or at one of the spots nearby. The room is available immediately, and short term lets are welcome.
THE FLAT:
The flat is large and bright, with a south-facing balcony and all the storage you could want. There are wood floors throughout the flat’s shared spaces and new carpet in both bedrooms. There is also secure bike storage and access to a parking space.
It is a 5-10 min walk to both Crystal Palace and Anerley stations, which are serviced by the Overground and national rail (half an hour to Victoria and London Bridge). The Crystal Palace triangle (shops, restaurants, bars and pubs, vintage market) is walkable in 10-15 minutes, and the park (with a pool and gym) is next door. There are large supermarkets within easy walking distance, as well as a Tesco express very close by.
Council tax, service charge and water bills are included in the rent; with broadband, gas, electricity and the TV license on top (these work out at roughly £45 each per month.)

The room is a spacious double, with a large window overlooking the building’s front garden. The room was painted and furnished less than a year ago.
Furniture includes: a double bed and mattress (both less than a year old), a large built in wardrobe with hanging rail and space for drawers, and a two drawer bedside table. While there is not a desk in the room at present, there is a breakfast bar in the kitchen and a dining table in the living room which both make great workspaces.
THE HOUSEMATE:
I am a 27 year old professional, working Mon-Fri in Westminster. I am often out and about after work during the week, so I really value my occasional evenings and weekends at home.
I am neat and tidy, love organising things and try to read a lot. I can generally be found at the local pub, eating out, or lounging at home with a book or a film and a bottle of wine.
