Description
Hello prospective new flatmates!
I know it's laughable timing to be posting this right now, but times are hard and drastic times call for drastic measures.
I'm looking to sublet out my room in Dalston/Stoke Newington. This can be negotiable between 1-4 months.
It's a lovely, big converted warehouse space with a pool table, mini gym, greenery and lots of room for activities! Perfect for isolating in...
The flat is situated right between Dalston and Stoke Newington, behind Beyond Retro. About a 10 minute walk to the Dalston Kingsland/Junction overgrounds and close to many shops - if they ever open again - and supermarkets for all your hoarding needs.
There are 5 rooms in the flat (including my own) but one of the housemates is usually away travelling for work half the time and given the current situation won't be back for a while.
We are friendly, chilled, social and creative working professionals (2 graphic designers/illustrators, a tailor and a tattoo artist) and there is a lot of working space. We're incredibly respectful of each other's space - we're not a party flat, especially as some of us have to work from home. However, that doesn't mean we don't like to spend time together and we frequently have flat dinners and hangs.
There are no agency fees or contract, rent and bills together are £579 and deposit is £250 - depending on the length of stay however, I'm happy to discuss and negotiate on the deposit. The room comes furnished (wardrobe, drawers, shelves, bed, desk) and I will be moving all of my belongings out for the duration of the sublet.
The only downfall is that the bedroom doesn't have windows as it is situated in the basement. However, the communal space does and has 2 big ol' skylights and normal windows which really help light up the space. The rest of the space and the price makes up for this for sure :)
It's imperative that we limit any footfall in the flat to only what is necessary right now - we're taking this social distancing seriously. For the time being we're happy to set up Skype/FaceTime viewings and meetings first to ensure people are really interested before coming over to view.
If you're interested please drop me a message with a little about yourself, how long you expect to stay and when you can be available to move in.
Thanks!
Ash
