I'm sadly leaving this friendly, classy and laugh-oriented house share for work. We're looking for a considerate and clean housemate who wants a home to replace me. This is a gorgeous 3 bedroom house in Dalston, which stays clean, friendly and peaceful.

You'll be sharing with two Brits, a guy and girl, both in their 30s. The vibe of the house is very important to us as we love living here. Vanessa is a freelance Change Manager who also has a vegan startup (and she is vegan herself). David works at an architecture firm. We're looking for a professional who can commit to staying in the house for a year at least to start (our excellent landlord is flexible). If you're sociable, on the tidy and clean side, and are a generally engaged, thoughtful person, this place is perfect for you.

Working from home (WFH) has been easy with the space and internet broadband. We work in the living room and sometimes in our rooms if we need to take more private phone calls. We're in talks of getting a larger table, as well. The room can accommodate a small desk (not included).

We are a proactive household where we all muck in to keep it in great repair (we also have a cleaner once a week). We pretty much only use eco cleaning products, so would like someone this appeals to. We are not a party household; it is important that all of us are able to relax here.

The house is located in the heart of Dalston, with all its shops, restaurants, cafes, street markets, and entertainment just around the corner. The house has unbeatable access to buses (67, 76, 149, 242, 243, 38, 56....) and Zone 2 Overground connections: Dalston Kingsland station is a one-minute walk away and Dalston Junction is less than five minutes.

The terraced house is in great repair, clean and comfortable. On the main floor, we have a large communal dining/living room, a fully-fitted kitchen at the back and a comfortable and very sunny outdoor patio area. Upstairs are the 3 bedrooms and the shared bathroom, which includes a shower and a new bathtub.

Bedroom: A small (2.5x2.6m) but comfortable double bedroom comes furnished with a double bed, a chest of drawers, shelves, a bedside table and has a recessed alcove (87x32cm) to hang your clothes. It's also south-facing, so catches the sun throughout the day and is very quiet. You will have access to a small space by the stairs for extra storage. 2.5m x 2.4m

Rent is £650 per month. Bills (council tax, electricity, gas, water, and M100 fibre broadband) come in at about £102 per person per month. Our cleaner is £32 per person per month on top of this, and you have the choice of adding your stuff to our contents insurance policy for only £8 per month.

The household is vegan-friendly (one flatmate is vegan) and LGBT friendly, and you should be as well.
