There are 3 storeys to the house, high ceilings, original features, lots of character, nice kitchen & living room, and a sunny back garden.
The room is available from February 7th 2026.

1) This room comes with a Ottoman Bed & a Mattress ONLY
2) All bills are included in the list price inc wifi.
3) Contract is 3 month minimum, and just roll on after that (with 2 months notice period).

The location is ideal, it's on the nicest, safest street in Dalston, a 1-3 minute walk from the main high street, buses and the 2 overground stations.
The street feels quiet and residential but at the same time is only a stone's throw from the rich bustle of Dalston high street.
It’s also only a 10-20 minute walk into London Fields, Hoxton Canal, Stoke Newington & Shoreditch etc!
The available room is on the first floor at the front of the house overlooking the street with 2 large original sash windows, high ceilings, carpet, shelves and cupboards with an original fireplace (closed).
This room has access to the main bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet and sink just opposite, this is shared with one other housemate. The third housemate has an en-suite upstairs on the top floor.
You will be sharing the house with Thanos & Kate. All of them are super nice professional people. They enjoy dinners, a few drinks, relaxing, while working hard in their respective careers. They are super easy going and will be keen to meet and welcome you.
To explain the layout of the house:
As you walk in up the raised steps to the ground floor, on the right as you walk in is the shared lounge overlooking the street with a dining table, sofa, tv, working gas fireplace, large bay window etc.
The ground floor bedroom is at the back of the house overlooking the garden. Down the corridor, you'll find the toilet for the ground floor bedroom and the back door out to the garden.
On the landing, as you go up the stairs is the communal bathroom with a toilet, sink, bath and shower. This bathroom will be shared officially by everyone (but the ground floor has its own toilet with a sink and the top floor has one with a shower as mentioned).
Up the stairs on the first floor is a beautifully fitted kitchen with plenty of cupboard space, a wine fridge, small dining table/chairs (and all the usuals) overlooking the garden. I know, first-floor kitchen!? It’s how some Victorian houses were designed.
Then next to the kitchen off the landing, there is a bedroom overlooking the street.
The top floor of the house is a bedroom and full ensuite bathroom built into the roof line.
We have a back garden as mentioned, it gets a lot of light and Natalia enjoys making this space nice which is perfect for the summer months bbq's with friends. There is also a shed for tools etc out there.

Bills are included as detailed in the ad, including gas, water, electric, council tax and broadband.
We would like the house to be occupied by like-minded people, who are respectful of each other, easy-going and communicative with others.
This is not a party house, it’s more of a home for professionals who work hard and like the confidence of having relaxation time at home, and who are open to discussing what works for each other and figuring it all out in a respectful manner (as we all learn to do sharing in London :).
