Double Room in Dalston house with huge Garden

Hi!

We’re looking for a new housemate to join our beautiful house-share in Dalston with a fully-furnished bedroom in a 2-floor house with a huge garden.

Move-in date is flexible between Dec 9th and 15th.

Ideally suited for a professional who wants to live in a relaxed, social home, with two nice and respectful housemates, in a safe, beautiful and very quiet neighbourhood, and at the same time to be in the middle of the East London vibe.

THE ROOM

The bedroom available is on the upper floor and it is equipped with a small double-bed, a wardrobe, mirrors and many shelves. Its window faces the quiet of our private garden.

The room won't fit a proper working desk, so if you need, you can set up a desk in the corner in the living room or downstairs. There’s a generous amount of space, so you needn’t worry about finding a suitable space for any home working.

THE HOUSE

A large communal living-room with a sofa/guest bed, a fireplace for cosy winter nights. there is also a spacious and modern bathroom, with bath, and a nice powerful shower!

On the ground floor is a dining room, a large storage room for household appliances and suitcases, and the large and fully-equipped American-style kitchen, with direct access to the garden.

Our house is equipped with a superfast broadband 600/300Mbps, and a Sonos sound system (great for hosting dinner guests and a bit of background music whilst cooking!).

The house is perfectly located:
- 5 min walk to Dalston Junction overground station;
- 7 min walk to Dalston Kingsland overground station;
- Close bus stops and good links to the underground.
- 10 mins walk to Haggerston, Hackney Downs, London Fields, and Stoke Newington;
- Broadway Market, Shoreditch, Clissold Park, Columbia Road Flower Market, the City are all within a 20/25 min walking distance.

RENT & DEPOSIT

The monthly rent is £800. Bills (council tax, gas & electricity, water, internet, cleaner fortnightly) are approx. £170/180pm. A deposit of £1050 is required to secure the room once your application is confirmed by the landlord.

ABOUT US

There are currently two other people living in the house: Fil, a photographer, and Ivan, a software engineer. We are both from Italy. We are friendly, easy-going, caring and respectful of each other’s space. We like to keep our rooms and house clean, tidy and nice and expect the same from our new housemate. In the evening we may enjoy having a chat while cooking dinner, sometimes, we like to catch up in the living room for a drink and a chat, or for reading a book, especially in the winter with the fireplace on.

We occasionally enjoy more social evenings in the house too, and sometimes invite a few friends over for small dinners. In summer we like to take advantage of the garden and organise BBQ parties. We like to think we’re lovely Italian housemates, who incidentally love cooking!
