Double room in Haggerston house :)

Hey hey,

We’re Jules, Tom and Laura and are looking for a new housemate to fill a medium sized double room in our sunny Haggerston house. There’s 2 bathrooms, a sizeable garden, lots of storage and a bright living room / kitchen. The room comes with a bed + mattress, desk, chair and wardrobe (slightly different to the one pictured)

The flat is in an ideal location, just 3 minutes walk from Haggerston station and right next to bus stops providing easy access to the rest of the city. We’re close by to London fields and Dalston Junction and there are plenty of cafes, bars and shops minutes from the door.

You’ll be sharing with Jules (they/them), a 3D printing technician, Tom (he/him) a 3D designer, and Laura (she/her) who works in audio installation. The current household age range is 26-34. We’re looking for someone chill who’s down for the occasional pint in one of the many nearby locals, but who also values having their own space and respects others space too. We sometimes eat together and we have a bbq in the garden which is great for hosting in the summer but we’re mostly quite busy people and are out and about more often than not. The room would probably suit someone of a similar vibe! We’re all very clean and respectful of communal spaces too.

All bills (council tax, wifi etc) come to about £110 a month on top of rent, which includes a weekly cleaner. We rent from an agency who’ll require full referencing to be completed about 2 weeks before the move-in date so they can prepare the contract. Their requirements are your documentation to live in the UK and proof of income. We’ve had freelancers in the past so this shouldn’t be a problem. As we pay council tax on the property we’re not able to accept students (council tax is band D).

Contract start date is May 23rd, and we’re currently getting the rent payment date moved to the 1st.
