Description
Hello! My lovely flatmate is moving out as she's bought a flat so we‘re looking for someone to take over her room.
*No couples, no students, no pets*
THE ROOM
It‘s a large double bedroom with your own little balcony, your own large bathroom (in the hallway) and built-in wardrobes. It‘s big enough to fit a desk in if you like to work from home. The bathroom has a bath/shower with a water filter and good water pressure.
THE FLAT
It‘s a 2-bedroom 2-bathroom flat with a big balcony. It‘s on the third floor of a new built. The flat is super lovely and spacious. Lots and lots of storage in the hallway too. Good sized living room with lots of plants and a comfy couch. The kitchen is very modern and also has a washing machine (washer/dryer) a and dish washer.
The flat is about a 5 minute walk from Dalston Junction and a 5 minute walk to London Fields. So a really great location for transport links as well as green spaces.
BILLS + DATES
Rent: £1300 + bills (which come out around 120-150).
Move in date: Hoping for some flexibility here as my flatmate is sorting out last details on her end, so anytime around 7th-21st July
WHO I'M LOOKING FOR
I'm looking for a female flatmate who is a professional and is respectful, clean, communicative and compassionate. Heavy emphasis on the clean, as we currently take a lot of care in keeping things clean and tidy. For example, we hoover/clean the flat once a week, leave the kitchen cleaner than we found it, and always empty the dishwasher whenever its done. I'm also looking for someone ideally with a similar lifestyle/schedule , i. e., working weekdays 9am–5/6pm. I'm an early riser so if you are a fellow morning person, even better! Lastly, I'd love to be able to have little chats, a glass of wine, and sometimes hang out together in the flat. Basically casual socialising – but respecting each other's down time, too.
WHO YOU'LL BE LIVING WITH
I'm Rachel, born and raised in Hong Kong but have been in London for 11 years. I work at a creative agency doing research/strategy. I work from home Mondays and Fridays, and am in the office Tuesdays to Thursday. Like I mentioned, I'm a big morning person so normally awake at around 6/7am to work out before work. I love natural wine and small plates (classic East London stereotype, I know), art, fashion, the occasional rave and bouldering.
Let me know if you‘re interested and we can arrange a viewing :)
