Sadly our flatmate is moving out so my partner (23M) and I (23F) are looking for a new flatmate to move into our two-bed flat from mid-august.
We have been living in this flat for a year and have loved the location, right next to Dalston Junction Station. The overground from Dalston Junction has great transport links, especially to District, Elizabeth, Victoria, and Hammersmith and city line. There are also many regular buses that go from the road just outside. There’s a big Sainsbury’s and Aldi super close, and we’re right on the high street so surrounded by lots of good cafes, pubs, and shops.
The flat is a two-bed with a shared living/kitchen room and bathroom. It’s furnished, the kitchen has dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer and all the basic kitchen appliances. The room is furnished with double bed, wardrobe, and a small set of drawers. There is outside semi-covered bike storage shared between the whole building.
The rent would be £900 per month. The estimated bills last year were £102 per person per month (water, electricity, and broadband), but we’ve not actually used that much any month this year. Last year we were all students so weren’t paying Council Tax, but the property is Council Tax band C.
I am going into my final year of university, studying Religion, Politics, and Society at KCL whilst working part-time as a bartender, and my partner is doing a year-long pupillage from September. We are generally quite quiet people and will likely be out a lot of the week as Harry will be working 9-5 and I’ll have commitments keeping me on campus during the day. We are a relaxed couple. I love reading, plants, dance, and doing jigsaws, and Harry is a big baker and boulderer.
