THE HOUSE
This is a 4-bedroom terraced house, with a bright lounge, separate kitchen, garden, basement for storage, full bathroom and a separate toilet. Our landlord is very good and responsive, and we've had no problems with them in five years living here.

The street is also a great place to live with lots of friendly neighbours - we’ve all got free furniture, jam, homegrown fruit and a safe place for parcels.
We’re near plenty of pubs, restaurants, cafes, parks, cinemas and 15-min walk to the canal.

Nearest station is Dalston Kingsland which is a 10-min walk.

THE ROOM
The room is on the ground floor but is warm, cosy and very peaceful. It’s a spacious room that easily fits a desk if you need to work from home. It’s partly furnished with bed and mattress, wardrobe and chest of drawers, but they can be easily taken away if you have your own furniture instead.

THE HOUSEMATES
You will be sharing it with 3 others in their early 30s: Bianca, Rabia and Roddy, all very lovely. You'll also be sharing the house with Bianca's cat, Brie, who sleeps a lot and is occasionally cuddly…

It’s a very easygoing house where you can be independent but we have started to frequent the local pub quiz…although still waiting for our first win.

THE COSTS
Costs per month:
- £855 pcm for the room
- approx.. £115-130 worth of bills (water, Internet, council tax, gas/electricity and a weekly cleaner)
- additional few pounds each month for shared stuff (toilet paper, kitchen condiments, cleaning products and so on - we all divide things equally).
- Deposit paid to the landlord: one month's rent (£780)
