Description
Hi everyone,
Sadly my housemates are moving on so a double room has opened up at our lovely, sociable top-floor flat in a converted warehouse in Dalston!
I’ll be real I love this flat and would love to find some new people to join me.
The room is beautiful and spacious with a door backing onto a large balcony with views over the city - perfect for a morning coffee and warm enough to have dinner outside in the summer. Plus it is south-facing so it gets plenty of sunlight during the day (your houseplants grow like they’re on steroids!)
The room also has a big storage cupboard which is currently being used as a walk-in wardrobe with shelves above. So plenty of space!
We have an open-plan kitchen/living room with a large fridge and freezer. The space is great for having friends around for dinner, drinks or watching a film.
There’s also an outdoor walkway/second balcony at the front of the flat with amazing views of north London where you can spot Ally Pally, the Emirates Stadium and even Hampstead Heath in the distance.
You would be living with me, a 26-year-old journalist and my roommate Darwin, the 20-year-old friendly tortoise!
I would be more than happy to live with any pets - as long as they don’t eat Darwin!
The flat is in a beautiful location - a short walk to Dalston Kingsland and Stoke Newington. It's about 30 minutes to central London (depending on where you’re going!)
Hackney Downs is a five-minute walk away and it's really easy to walk over to Clissold Park, London Fields or the canals as well.
There are amazing transport links with three overground stations nearby plus tons of buses.
A couple are currently living in the room so it would be great to live with another pair to keep the rent affordable for all three of us.
Rent works out at £750 for each member of the couple ( that includes cost of the water bill).
Other bills usually come to around £100 each - although cheaper in summer.
The room has some basic furniture (bed, cupboard and possibly a rail) while the living room is currently furnished - but open to swapping some bits around if you have some of your own furniture!
Looking for a couple to move in at the start of October and happy to show people around next week!
Thanks,
Jacob
