Description

[fyi: it's a different bedroom that the one in the photos above, one that is a decent bit larger!]

Hey all, I’m giving up my place in this gorgeous queer 3 bed flat directly on top of Dalston Kingsland Station. The flat is super modern and well-equipped and I’ve really loved living here. My current flatmates Mohamad and Alex are super warm and I think they’re amazing people to live with.

The rent is £1137 pm, bills around £150 (inc council tax, heating, internet etc) although less in winter. The room would be available mid Sept. Location is amazing as it’s directly on top of an Overground station! You’ll be right on the doorstep of a ton of restaurants, bars and clubs.

Tenancy is a 12 month contract that you will be added to, with a deposit of £1288. The flat is situated on the 9th floor and is accessible by 2 lifts and a staircase up to the property, with no steps within the property. Unfortunately, the landlord does not accept benefits.

The flat is warm and dry (even without the heating on), with a big balcony and patio heater. Also featuring: two bathrooms, a 1111 sq. ft open-plan kitchen/living space, intercom system, and concierge service. The room comes with a double bed (which lifts up and has extra storage underneath), wardrobe, desk, and a spectacular view of Kingsland Highstreet!

Mohamad - 26 - (he/him) Mohamad is a sociable and friendly person who just moved to London recently from New York for work. Originally Lebanese, he has lived all over the world for school and work. He loves creating a safe, comfortable space but also values personal time and space. He works at an AI startup as a data scientist, 2-3 days in the office and the rest from home depending on the week.

Alex - 31 - (he/him) Alex is calm, sweet, and has a relaxed energy. He works as a Mental Health Social Worker and is passionate about film, music, and socialism. He’s tidy, enjoys socializing, and is always up for a good kitchen chat. He mostly works from home a couple of days a week.

We’ve always had a good balance between personal space and hanging out – we all work hard and need our space but equally value our friendships and love the occasional cooking night, get-together, or party once every now and then.

I’m genuinely so sad to be leaving this amazing space and I just know whoever moves in will love it as much as I have! Please feel free to contact me and arrange a viewing 🙂
