Double room with own bathroom in Dalson

Hello!

I’m looking for a new flatmate to join me from November in my spacious home in the heart of Dalston. The room available is a double, furnished with a comfortable king-size bed, plenty of storage space, and overlooks the garden for a peaceful view.

The house itself is spacious with lots of shared areas to enjoy, plus a lovely garden for relaxing or spending time outside. It’s located on a quiet, gated crescent right near Ridley Road, which means you get the best of both worlds—vibrant neighborhood with a bit of calm at home.

I have a bathroom on my floor, so the bathroom next to your room will only be used by you and maybe the occasional house guest/visitor. The house has an additional box room - there isn’t much room for more than a single bed and a chest of drawers. We can either use this for guests or I’d be open to consider renting it out.

The transport connections are excellent, with Dalston Junction, Dalston Kingsland Overground, and Hackney Downs Railway + Overground stations all within a 5-7 minute walk. There are also plenty of buses nearby, making it easy to get to places like Marble Arch, Victoria Station, Aldgate, Waterloo, London Bridge, and Tottenham Court Road.

A little about me: I work for a mental health charity and also do welfare work for queer events and parties. I really value creating a comfortable and warm home. Open communication is key for me, be honest with each other about our needs and preferences to make sure we’re both happy in the space we share. I’m mindful of boundaries and would like a home environment that feels supportive, whether we’re enjoying some time together or having our own quiet moments.
